BUG :-(

The principle of this application is to drive you continously (by getting as many informations as possible about your source and by checking them) so to encode your source in the best way.
If a bug appears, it will probably operate during analysis (and you'll even be probably obliged to "Force to quit" the application), in that case follow this "BUGs operating instructions" so to collect the whole specification of your source file to upgrade the next version of MovieConverter Studio…

Unhappily, MovieConverter Studio is not perfect, let it know your bugs so to help it to approach perfection ;-)

 

Operating Instructions

This warning is a normal one (overall, read it ;-))

If you don't understand it (too much technical?), simply click on the default selected button ;-)

 

This warning is an anormal one (indicates a mistake)

You will see it:
- if there's any problem with MovieConverter Studio
- if you enable the debug mode

If you see this warning "naturally" (= without having enabled the debug mode), no doubts, it's a mistake/bug, thank you to let me know it so to try to upgrade MovieConverter Studio.

 

 

Bug report

To try to correct a mistake, I need as many information as possible:

• Make a screenshot of the warning pop-up window.
• Select the menu item "MovieConverter Studio > Bug report…" to prepare an email to be sent (follow the instructions).
• Try to reproduce the bug:
  • Quit and restart MovieConverter Studio,
  • Select the menu item "MovieConverter help > Enable debug mode",
  • Reload your source file (menu "Open"),
  • Restart encoding,
  • Make a screenshot(s) of the warning(s),
  • Join MovieConverter Studio's log files (its folder was opened on your Desktop by the menu item "MovieConverter Studio > Bug report…")
    (location of MCS log folder: /(your user name)/Library/Logs/MovieConverter/).
• Join to the email screenshot(s) and log files and send it to me with a description of the circumstances of the problem.
• A lot of thanks :-)

PS: if you do not succeed to reproduce the bug, I'm fearing that it will be hard (impossible?) to correct it :-(
